Established in 1954, Government Higher Secondary School, Kalaktang is managed by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located in the heart of Kalaktang Town in Kalaktang Administrative Block of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh. The school consists of Grades from Class 6 to Class 12. English is the medium of instruction in this school. The school is approachable by all-weather road. In this school, the academic session starts in April.
